After months of preparation, we are pleased to officially announce the launch of GEM-JC Project on November 15, 2016, where Japanese and Egyptian experts will work hand in hand on the conservation of archaeological objects including Tutankhamun’s artifacts, which will be exhibited in GEM’s opening.

We are all looking forward to starting the first stage of work. Japanese experts are expected to arrive in early December to conduct condition assessment and documentation of the artifacts’ states.
