After months of preperation, we are pleased to offically announce the launch of GEM-JC Project on November 15th 2016, where Japanese and Egyptian experts will work hand in hand on the conservation of archaeological objects including Tutankhamun’s artifacts, which will be exhibited in GEM’s opening.
To find out more details on what artifacts we will be working on, the project’s goal and expected achievements and all the activities make sure to check the About page.
We are all looking forward excitedly to starting the first stage of work. Japanese experts are expected to arrive in early December to conduct condition assesment and documentation of the artifacts’ states.
