The mural painting team has started preparing for the transportation of the final 3 sets of mural paintings in the project as the Egyptian team started building up the scaffolds where the paintings are located at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
After that, the Japanese mural painting team came from Japan to work with the Egyptian team, to decide on the materials and tools to be used as well as to work on a plan for the first aid phase.
The first aid process is done before transportation to ensure that no damage occurs to the artifacts during transportation as the team conserve and strengthen any fragile parts of the artifacts in the place where they are being displayed.
