First Aid & 3D scanning of follow artifacts start in Egyptian Museum of Cairo

August 2017- preparing for the scheduled transport of the Follow Target Artifacts in October, the wood conservation team and documentation team started the first aid and the documentation of the ritual beds and the chariot of King Tutankhamun at the Egyptian Museum of Cairo.

Now, Mr. Ahmed Abd-Rabo, Mr. Ahmed Adel and Ms. Amira Osman are fully and confidently operating two new portable 3D scanner devices, Eva and Spider, procured by  JICA Egypt

Mr. Abdrabou , Mr. Ramy and Mr.Ali, the wood conservation team members, carried out the task of First Aid for transportation by applying Japanese paper facings to the fragile parts of the objects while tourists were curiously observing their work .
